Former Australian pacer Brett Lee, who is arguably one of the fastest bowlers ever graced to the game of cricket, tormented a lot of best batsmen in his playing days – the era studded with the likes of Sachin Tendulkar, Brian Lara, Jacques Kallis, Virender Sehwag, and Kumar Sangakkara.
He was a potent weapon in Australia's armory during Kangaroos’ glory in the 2000s when he had given a tough time to many batsmen to survive against him, but there were some of the best in business who managed to play him very well and score against the Aussie.

Recently, Lee had an Instagram live session with former Zimbabwe pacer Pommie Mbangwa – where he revealed the batsmen who played him the best and he is none other than Indian legend Tendulkar apart from Lara and Kallis.
The Aussie further went on to rate Tendulkar as the best batsman in the world but said legendary South Africa all-rounder Kallis is the most complete cricketer the game has ever seen.
Lee told Mbangwa during Instagram Live, “You think of Sachin Tendulkar, it just looked like he had more time, the best way to explain the meaning of time in cricket is that it felt like Sachin was batting on the return crease, batting next to the stumps, it just felt like he had more time to play against me, in my opinion, he is the best batsman in the world.”

He further added, “Then you go onto Brian Lara, he was so flamboyant, it did not matter how quick you bowled against him, he could smash you in six different areas on the ground, Lara and Sachin have to neck and beck when you talk about greatest batsmen. In my opinion, Sachin is the best batsman, but the greatest complete cricketer in my opinion has to be Jacques Kallis.”
Noteworthy, the Proteas great Kallis played 166 Tests, 328 ODIs and 25 T20Is for South Africa and is considered as the greatest all-rounder the game has seen.
On the other hand, Tendulkar has the most number of runs in the Test format of the game to his name, amassing 15,921 runs with a record 51 Test centuries – most by any player in the format.
In ODI cricket, Tendulkar is topping the list in this format with 18,426 runs including 49 hundred.
