Former Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar was known for his aggression. He was someone who never stayed back when provoked by the opposition. His bouncers, followed by a verbal taunt would leave any batsman fuming.
Akhtar knows India skipper Virat Kohli also likes the attacking game. The speedster feels Kohli would have been his good friend off the field if they played against each other.

But on the field, the clash between these two aggressive players may have made them look like enemies.
"Virat Kohli would have been best of my friends because both of us are Punjabis and we have similar kind of nature, even though he is a lot junior to me, I really respect him," Akhtar said on EspnCricinfo Videocast with India cricketer turned commentator Sanjay Manjrekar.
"We would have been best off the friends but on the field, we would have been the best of the best enemies," Akhtar added.
The ex-Pakistan bowler has always praised Kohli for his achievements and consistent dominance over the years.
