Former India skipper and current BCCI President Sourav Ganguly among those who were affected by the powerful storm, but he was fortunate that the only damage caused by the super-cyclone was the uprooting of a mango tree at his house in the Behala area of Kolkata.
However, Dada, who is confined to his home in Kolkata due to the nationwide COVID-19 lockdown, managed to save the age-old tree at his house which got uprooted due to the cyclone.
Taking to Twitter on Thursday (May 21), Ganguly shared a couple of pictures to reveal the details of the damage the cyclone caused at his home, where he along with his family members can be seen fixing that uprooted mango tree to its position.
He captioned the post on Twitter: “The mango tree in the house had to be lifted, pulled back and fixed again…strength at its highest.”
Soo after the BCCI chief shared the post, fans hailed Dada for showcasing another display of 'strength at its highest' in such dire times on Twitter, while linking the latest photo with their one of favorite cricketing memories – a shirt-swirling celebration of Ganguly after the famous NatWest 2002 series triumph at Lord’s.
