Virat Kohli shares "no need to look back" post amid COVID-19 threat

Amid the ongoing nationwide COVID-19 lockdown, Virat Kohli is preparing for cricket return, as India captain has already started getting into the game mode with doing laps and training at home.

The right-hander also shared a couple of videos on social media, where he can be seen running up and down at his complex, and then a viral video shows he was playing tennis ball cricket with his wife Anushka Sharma during the shutdown.

With the international sports have been paused since March across the world due to the global Coronavirus pandemic, cricket might return in India with some state governments giving green signal to open the stadiums in the country amid the lockdown 4.0.

Well, amid the COVID-19 lockdown, the 30-year-old is keeping himself motivated with every possible way at home and now on Sunday, May 17, Kohli yet again shared a picture of himself form an international match by saying “move only ahead” on his social media handles.

The picture was from a T20I against West Indies – where the Indian captain can be seen stretching full length to get back into the crease and save his wicket – which usually a batsman does while facing in the direction of the stumps but Kohli has his own style.

The dashing right-hander was comfortably in the crease even without turning an inch back and West Indies bowler Hayden Walsh Jr. can be seen smiling at Kohli, as he seemed to be impressed with his high level of athleticism during a T20I encounter between the two teams.

He captioned the post: “No need to look back. As we move only one way – AHEAD.”

Noteworthy, in that match, Kohli played a brilliant knock of unbeaten 94 from 50 balls to help India to chase down a mammoth target of 208 runs with 2 balls remaining against the West Indies.
