Former India batsman Sachin Tendulkar came up with a post dedicated to his mother on a special occasion. The world is celebrating mother's day and Sachin wrote a post for her describing the true meaning of 'Aai' (mother in Marathi).

"You are AAI to me because, besides everything else you are Always Amazing & Irreplaceable," Tendulkar tweeted on Sunday. "Thank you for everything you have done for me," he added.

The tweet had a picture of his mother holding him when he was a baby.

Sachin's mother had visited the stadium to watch him play only once in his entire career. It was his 200th and final Test played in Mumbai.

It was a touchy moment for both, his mother and Sachin, as described by Ajith Tendulkar, his elder brother before the memorable match back in 2013. "Mother has never seen him play – this will be the first time," Ajith had said.
