Virat Kohli wants to be in good zone when he returns to cricket

Kohli also talked about how much he is missing the cricket action in lockdown.

India's captain Virat Kohli appeared on the show Cricket Connected with Jatin Sapru. In the show, cricket fans get an opportunity to interact with the cricketers. They bring up questions that get answered by the cricketers.

Kohli joined Sapru for the show in this week's episode and he talked about life in lockdown. The 31-year-old also spoke about his plans after the pandemic.

Virat is trying to keep himself as positive as he can in this tough phase. He doesn't want to be in a bad position while returning to the game. "I am keeping myself positive and happy and just looking forward to life so that whenever I return to the game, I know I will be in a good position to start from where we left."

In the show, Kohli also lets fans know how much he is missing Indian Premier League while the pandemic has forced them to stay at home. Responding to a fan's question, he also let him know how important it is to have a good mindset while batting or things won't work out. 

Yuzvendra Chahal also joined his captain in the show as they talked about their bonding. 

The show will be telecasted on May 9 and 10 on Star Sports 1, Star Sports 2, and Cricket Connected Hindi.
