Cricket pundit Ian Chappell revealed his pick between two of the greatest batsmen of the current time, Virat Kohli and Steve Smith. There is usually a comparison between Virat and Smith among fans because they hold equal abilities to be the best.

Chappell was asked to name a better cricketer between Virat and Smith by Raunak Kapoor. Before answering, he questioned back, “As captain or batsman?” To which Kapoor said, “You tell me.” Chappell then added, “I’d take Kohli both ways, as captain and batsman.”

Virat had led India to Test series win on Australian soil for the first time in the year 2018. In the four-match Test series, they managed to secure it by 2-1. 

The India captain is also currently second in the men's Test ranking, behind Steve Smith. While Kohli has 886 Rating, Smith jumped to the top with 911 Rating in the latest ranking.
