India’s legendary captain MS Dhoni, who has been known as one of the calmest cricketers to have played the game, shares a healthy relation and camaraderie with his teammates both national and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and that’s one of the reasons he is one of the most loves captains.
Dhoni and former South African spinner Imran Tahir also share such a bond with each other, thanks to their CSK stints in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Recently, Tahir yet again showered rich praise on Dhoni, calling him a great human being besides being a wonderful captain during a live YouTube chat with the IPL franchise CSK.
During a chat with Rupha Ramani, the spinner also recalled the moment when Dhoni enjoyed a sprint race with his son Gibran last IPL season, saying it was a very special moment for his son and he will relish the time he spent with him after growing up.
After CSK had defeated KXIP in a group match of IPL 2019, the CSK captain was seen enjoying a sprint race with his teammate Shane Watson and Imran Tahir's sons and later carried Tahir's son to the finish line while leaving junior Watson behind – the video went quite viral on social media at that time.

Tahir said in the YouTube chat, “It was a very special moment for my son. Very grateful to Mahi Bhai. You know what a wonderful guy he is and what a wonderful captain he is. He is also a great human being. That's what inspires me more about him and his family.”
The Proteas bowler further revealed that Dhoni has always sent birthday wishes to his son, adding: “I am just so happy that he always gives messages about Gibran on his birthday, which you missed this year. And yeah you know playing with him Jibran will one day, he will be like I am not sure I was Gibran. Growing up he will be like I played with MS Dhoni one of the world's best captains.”
Tahir signed off by saying, “It's really good of him to interact with the kids and the way he is carrying himself around people, it's unbelievable to see. Personally, I have lots and lots of respect for him and we always keep him and all the Chennai players in our prayers.”
