Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) youngster Shubman Gill is among the blessed ones who play with West Indies juggernaut Andre Russell, and not against in Indian Premier League. The Caribbean power hitter leaves no one once he is in full flow, and Gill has witnessed it from the other end.
When asked how it feels to watch Russell batting by the official account of KKR, he said that it is like watching a match highlight from the non-striker's end.

During the question and answer session, Gill also named who will he pick to bat with among the retired batsman, "The one and only, Sachin Tendulkar."
The youngster has found Dinesh Karthik's leadership good and he also appreciated the support of franchise owner Shah Rukh Khan. "DK (Dinesh Karthik) is a really good leader. SRK always supports us no matter if we win or lose. He doesn't talk much about the match.", he said answering a question.
Gill was once pranked by Rishabh Pant, Ishan Kishan, and Krunal Pandya. Talking about the incident he said, "I went to have sushi for the first time with Pant, Kishan, and Krunal. They convinced me that wasabi was a great dessert and I believed them."
