Team India skipper Virat Kohli on Friday (24 April) praised all the leaders for doing a commendable job in tackling this Coronavirus pandemic. Kohli was having a chat with his RCB teammate AB de Villiers on Instagram when he praised the national leaders.

We are in lockdown for a long time now, things went out of control in a few areas, but our leadership is doing a commendable job, obviously our immunity is helping as well, luckily the graph has not shot up drastically, people are optimistic regarding the whole situation,” Kohli said.

The right-hand batsman then talked about how people are risking their lives to help each other in these tough times.

Harbhajan says current Indian team lacks confidence, over dependent on Rohit, Kohli

It's good to see the human side really coming up, it is the only option we have right now, there is a silver lining to every situation, people are risking their lives to help others, I do not think we will get to jog outside for some time to come,” the Indian skipper added.

The Delhi based batsman then said that the current situation is quite surreal, but he also feels that this will only teach everyone to make a comeback.

People are putting it as something worse than World War, it is surreal, I never thought something like this would happen. As a part of sports fraternity, this will teach us to make a comeback,” Kohli said.

Not only the Indian Premier League but all the cricketing activities are suspended till further notice due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
