Jimmy Neesham reveals how his dad's offer made him fall in love with cricket

Neesham's father had a special prize for him if he scored a half-century.

The Coronavirus pandemic has affected around 25 lakh people worldwide and almost everybody is at home isolating themselves. Under these boring circumstances, ESPNCricInfo asked cricket fans around the world to reminisce to think about what made them fall in love with the game.

New Zealand all-rounder Jimmy Neesham replied to the tweet revealing how his father’s special efforts made him love the game so much. A young Neesham was fat, as he revealed on Twitter, and loved eating from Wendys, a hamburger-special outlet.

His father would get him Wendys whenever he scored a half-century and that made him work hard on the game and as a result, fall in love with it.
