Yuvraj Singh and Andrew Flintoff had an on-field verbal spat during the India v England match in the 2007 World T20 on September 19 which turned out to be destructive for someone who wasn't even involved in the heated conversation, Stuart Broad.

That over from Broad became historic as Yuvraj smashed him for six consecutive sixes in the over. The southpaw recently revealed the words exchanged between him and Flintoff which led to such barbaric hitting.

Yuvraj was not thinking about hitting back-to-back sixes, but the fight with Flintoff had got inside his head. "To be honest it was not on my mind to hit 5 sixes. But my argument will Flintoff got me infuriated," Yuvraj told Sports Tak.

"I hat hit Flintoff for 2 boundaries on good deliveries and he did not like it. And after that over when I was walking to the other end. I can't repeat exactly what he said. He told me that those were some ridiculous shots. So I asked him what did he say and had a confrontation."

During the argument, Flintoff said, "I will cut your throat off", to which the India cricketer responded, "You see this bat in my hand. You know where I am gonna hit you with this bat?"

Very soon the umpire stepped in to separate them before they crossed the lines. "So the umpire interrupted us but I was very pumped after that argument and I had decided that I have to send every ball out of the park now. Luckily it was my day," Yuvraj recalled.

One after another, the left-handed explosive batsman completed six sixes in the over and stunned everyone.

"Today when I see those sixes, I wonder how I did I hit the first shot. The 2nd and 3rd were good shots. But the 4th one was in the point region. Before that day, I had never even hit a boundary in point," Yuvraj said. He had completed half-century in just 12 balls in that match which is a record till now in T20I format.
