With the coronavirus pandemic halting all sporting events including cricket, current and former cricketers have nothing to do than to interact with their fans on social media, something that gets overlooked due to their busy schedules.

Former Australia spinner Brad Hogg is one such person who is utilizing this downtime to the most and is having Q&A sessions on Twitter and engaging with his fans. Hogg, known for his never say die attitude on the field and infectious personality has been entertaining fans with his witty answers and insights into the game.

Recently, a fan asked him to name the five best bowlers with killer yorkers in today’s cricketing world. “@Brad_Hogg  Who do you think are the top five yorker bowlers in world cricket right now? #Hoggytime,” the fan asked.

Hogg replied with. “Off the top of my head. Bumrah, Malinga, Starc, Rauf, Jordan. #Hoggytime.”

Brad Hogg replied with five of his choices and each of them has shown tremendous potential with the ball and showcased their abilities to bowl toe crushing yorkers.  He chose India’s Jasprit Bumrah, Australia’s Mitchell Starc, Sri Lankan legend Lasith Malinga, England’s Chris Jordan, and Pakistan’s Haris Rauf.

While Bumrah and Malinga have showcased their abilities to bowl yorkers in the IPL and for their respective sides in international cricket; Chris Jordan and Haris Rauf have done so with immense success in T20 leagues apart from appearances for England and Pakistan respectively. Mitchell Starc has time and again showed why he is considered to be one of the best genuine pacers in the world by bowling yorkers at speeds exceeding 150kph.
