MS Dhoni has not played for India since the semifinal exit from World Cup 2019, and with the 13th edition of IPL getting postponed indefinitely, everyone is speculating about the international return of the wicket-keeper batsman.

But Dhoni’s CSK teammate Suresh Raina came out in support of his captain as he feels there is more cricket left in him and the right-hander was batting brilliantly in the recent training camp in Chennai.

He was batting really well. Cricket is still left in him. He has looked innovative. We played practice games and those sixes are as big as they were. Three hours of batting in the evening, that too, in Chennai heat is not easy and we did that (during the camp),” Raina said.

The 33-year-old then revealed that he did not see any signs of MS Dhoni aging and people will get to know whenever they get to see him.

If you ask me, Mahi bhai is batting brilliantly. His body is not showing signs of aging. He was looking different and was trying to do something else, something different, new. So people will get to know when they see him,” the left-hand batsman said in an Instagram Live session.

Raina who is known as ‘Chinna Thala’ in Chennai has played under the former Indian skipper MS Dhoni in the 2011 World Cup and the Champions Trophy of 2013, both ICC tournaments that team India managed to win.
