Kevin Pietersen had an illustrious international career with 8181 runs in Tests, 4440 runs in ODIs and 1176 runs in T20Is with an average close to 40s in each of the formats. He did not think against playing his trademark switch hit and the long slogs to best of the bowlers in the world.
However, the one bowler he had no idea against is Pakistan’s Mohammad Asif. He was banned from international cricket after he was tested positive for anabolic steroid Nandrolone and then for being involved in spot-fixing with two other teammates.

A Twitter user posted an old video of Asif dismissing Pietersen in a Test match. The former England cricketer reacted to the tweet saying that he was the best bowler he had ever faced and many batsmen would have been relieved with the fact that he got banned.
Here is the tweet:
I think there’s plenty batters around the world that were happy he got banned!
