After Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Yuvraj Singh, Cheteshwar Pujara came live on Instagram with Saurashtra captain Jaydev Unadkat. The two buddies share a good bond and know each other for a long time.

During Instagram live, Pujara expressed his desire to become an all-rounder. Unadkat jokingly said Cheteshwar's bowling won them the Ranji Trophy this year.

"Is it because of your bowling that we have won the Ranji Trophy?", asked Jaydev. To which, Pujara replied, "I am not saying that when did I say that, I am a part-time bowler. I want to become an all-rounder."

Saurashtra had lost Ranji Trophy final last year, but this season having an edge over the opponent ensured their victory in the final. Bengal fell short by 44 runs of Saurashtra's first innings total.

"When we lost the last Ranji Trophy final we said we want to come back stronger and the way boys prepared it assured we were going to do well."

Pujara also added he wasn't sure of a victory against Parthiv Patel-led Gujarat in the semifinal.  "When I was traveling I very nervous. I along with Ashwin, Wriddhiman Saha and Umesh Yadav were discussing whether Saurashtra will win the final or not."
