Amid the nationwide lockdown due to the ongoing Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli and his wife, Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma have been enjoying a great time together and also making sure to spend quality time with parents at home as well.
The COVID-19 lockdown is a blessing in disguise for those, who had a busy work schedule and due to which they couldn’t spend the more time with the loved ones but now the ongoing pandemic has given the chance to be with the family and get closer to them in this critical time.
With the lockdown forcing all to stay indoors, Virat and Anushka have been making the most of the break as their social media feeds proves it all – from clicking funny selfies to the actress cutting her cricketer husband's hair, the couple is enjoying every small moment together at home.
Well, the couple has yet again given a glimpse of their happy family time being confined to home, as the actress came up with another delightful picture enjoying a game of Monopoly with their family.
Taking to Twitter on April 7, Anushka has shared a picture where the couple can be seen playing Monopoly with her parents and sharing a hearty laugh while she explained the importance of family in our lives in a long social media post.
Along with a delightful picture, Anushka wrote: “It’s from our primary caregivers - the family that we learn how to tread the journey of life, how to walk, how to eat, how to socialize & then face the world. This forms the initial conditioning that has a lasting impact on us. In the world we inhabit today, there is a lot of uncertainty and I'm sure a lot of you have found that solace & sense of familiarity with your families.”
She added, “Stay at home to take care of everyone precious in your lives. And also make the most of these moments ... smile, laugh, share, show affection, clear misunderstandings, develop stronger/healthier bonds, discuss life and dreams and pray for a better tomorrow. We all have been moved deeply, we all have been affected deeply and hopefully, we will carry forward these lessons in the days to come. And hopefully, we have all conditioned ourselves to relook at the world we inhabited before all of this happened...”
The Bollywood diva ends the message on a light note by saying: “It was a super close game of Monopoly and the competitive side of everyone was out there. Any guesses who won?”
