India came together to light diyas and candles on April 5 at 9 PM and showed unity in the fight against the Coronavirus pandemic. But there were people who lost the plot and started bursting crackers.

India cricketer R Ashwin was surprised to see people overdoing things. Apart from lighting diya, some people walked out of their houses to burn crackers. Some were even marching in groups which took away the whole purpose of the #9baje9minute initiative.

Ashwin was surprised how people got crackers in this lockdown when only essential things are available for sale?

“But I really do wonder where all these people bought their crackers from and of course ( when is the most important Q) !!” he tweeted.

Earlier, Gautam Gambhir had shown his displeasure over people's stupidity.
