Australia's one of the most successful captains, Ricky Ponting posted his favorite pieces of memorabilia. Ponting, who played 168 Test matches for Australia in his 17-year long career had received a new Australia Test cap from Cricket Australia and his wife Rianna Jennifer Cantor.

Ponting has also kept the first Test cap he got on the debut. The 'Baggy Green' from his debut is special for him, like any other cricketer.

Sharing the pictures of both the caps, he wrote, "This is my favorite piece of memorabilia gifted to me by Rianna and Cricket Australia when I retired. A brand new cap on the left and my pride and joy on the right, looking a bit worse for wear after about 140 odd tests".

Ponting featured in his last Test match in 2012. He scored 13,378 runs in his Test career with an average of 51.9.
