Ajinkya Rahane praises Maharashtra government for free helpline for mental health support

Rahane mentioned that mental health in important amid Coronavirus outbreak.

Ajinkya Rahane has lauded the efforts of Maharashtra government for a starting a helpline for the mental health of its citizens.

India is under a 21-day lockdown to stop the spread of Coronavirus and the situation will remain the same for a few weeks to come if not more. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced a lockdown of 21 days until April 14. There are reports of that tenure to get extended.

Indian Test vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane has expressed the importance of mental health during this period. The government of Maharashtra state has created a free helpline to support the people suffering from mental health issues during the lockdown period.
