Waqar Younis, legendary Pakistan bowler and current bowling coach of the national side, is proud of his wife Dr. Faryal who is a frontline hero fighting the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Faryal, who is an emergency physician, is among the frontline workers who are risking everything to save human lives in the ongoing health crisis by the COVID-19 – which is continued to wreak havoc all over the world, claiming near 38000 lives and infecting around 8 Lakh peoples globally till the date.
Pakistan is also suffering the most due to the outbreak, as the number of coronavirus cases surpassed 1,700 in the country with the threat of COVID-19 is growing even more rapidly globally.
The current situation is really scary for all, especially for the families of the healthcare workers and the former Pakistan captain is no different, saying he feels scared for his wife’s safety every morning when she leaves for work but he is also glad when she returns home safely.
Taking to Twitter on March 28, Waqar shared a picture of his wife with another doctor, where both are fully covered in protective gear and said he can proudly call his wife a hero.
