Mayank Agarwal turns ‘chef’ amid COVID-19 lockdown

With the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic furiously surging around the world, several countries have implemented a lockdown to combat the unknown enemy which is continuously killing hundreds of lives every hour globally despite the world is trying everything to control it.

There is still no vaccine available to kill the virus, the only option for the entire world to stay indoors to help limit the number of people getting sick from this deadly COVID-19 – which has now claimed over 25000 lives and infected near about 6 Lakh peoples globally till the date.

Well, India has also imposed a 21-day lockdown to fight the Coronavirus outbreak in the country where over 1000 COVID-19 positive cases have been recorded on Sunday (March 29).

Due to the lockdown, the Indian cricketers get a rare holiday to spend time with the family thanks to the busy international calendar these days well some of them likes of Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan are busy helping their families by doing the laundry, while Test opener Mayank Agarwal has decided to try his hands in the kitchen to utilize his home time.

Taking the advantage of this unwanted break form game due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 25-year-old has turned chef, preparing a special dish - Spinach and Mushroom Quinoa for family being in quarantine.

Taking to Twitter on March 27, Agarwal shared a picture of himself with the dish and wrote: “Came up with a healthier option for dinner. Spinach and Mushroom Quinoa courtesy Chef Mayank! #StayHomeStaySafe #StayAwareStaySafe.”
