"Be Home And Safe", Mohammad Azharuddin's workout in home during COVID-19 lockdown

Azharuddin appealed to fellow Indian citizens to adhere to the lockdown to beat COVID-19.

In the best interests of public health and safety, the people have been globally requested to stay indoors that’s the best way in the current critical circumstances to fight the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic which has not only impacted the human life but also the sporting world as well.

With the worldwide people suffering from coronavirus wrath, all the sporting events including cricket has been canceled or postponed indefinitely while most countries have announced lockdown, urging all to stay at home to be safe and help the authorities to tackle the spread of the fast-growing virus.

Sadly, the growing threat of the novel coronavirus has left no other option except staying indoors to save themselves, family, community and the world from this deadly disease.

Well, the sportspersons have been making the most of this testing time, spending time with family, interacting with their fans, sharing their self-quarantine routine while spreading awareness about the COVID-19 and how to avoid this virus on social media.

On Tuesday (March 24), former Indian captain Mohammad Azharuddin joined other sportspersons in sharing a video of him working out at home while appealing to all fellow citizens to stay at home to be safe and win the battle against the COVOD-19 virus, which has claimed near 19000 lives till now.

Taking to Twitter, Azharuddin shared the video with a caption: “Home workouts during these difficult times of COVID-19. Pls, be home and safe. Social distancing is the necessity of the day. Please be aware of the measures of the govt for citizen safety and adhere to the lockdown. May Allah give us all the strength and courage to win this fight.”
