The whole world is reeling as the deadly Coronavirus is strongly gripping all the countries everywhere. The virus originated in the Wuhan, a city in the Hubei province of China and the first cases were reported in December of 2019.
It has been reported that humans caught the COVID-19 virus due to consuming bats and bat soup apart from other exotic animals that were illegally traded in the wet market in Wuhan. Videos have surfaced of the market which shows animals like monkeys, dogs, cats, pythons, pangolins, and other rare species were butchered for human consumption.

The virus has affected more than 380,000 people so far with 16,500 losing their lives and 102,000 people recovering from this virus. However, former England cricketer Kevin Pietersen has criticized the animal market in China which is responsible for the humans contracting the device.
The former England captain is also a well-known animal activist and shared some tweets in his account slamming China for their way of diet and animal abuse.
