Sachin Tendulkar calls PM Modi's Janta Curfew, 'the right step' in the fight against coronavirus

In janta curfew, people are supposed to stay home from 7 am to 9 pm on Sunday, March 22.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed all the citizens and explained to them the current situation of recent coronavirus outbreak. He also proposed a ‘Janta curfew’ in which everyone should stay home from 7 am to 9 pm on Sunday (22 March).

The legendary Indian batsman Sachin Tendulkar lauded his speech and also said that Janta curfew is the right step in preparation against coronavirus.

Janta Curfew is the ideal step in keeping ourselves prepared for any eventuality. Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji has rightly said that all of us should fight against Covid-19 seriously. Let’s do our bit and stay at home to protect ourselves and others,” Tendulkar wrote on Twitter.
