Shoaib Akhtar has extended his love for India on a chat show where he said that the Indians do not want war with Pakistan and are dying to work with them.
Former Pakistan pace bowler Shoaib Akhtar has praised Indian cricketers and the Indian team a lot on his YouTube channel which he put up long after retiring from international cricket. This time, he was on a chat show where he went on to praise the Indian people and also revealed how the Indian media is completely different from the actual emotions in the country.
Akhtar said, “India is a great place, the people are amazing. Never did I feel that they want any animosity or any type of war with Pakistan. But, when I went to their TVs etc. it feels as if war will happen tomorrow. I have traveled extensively across India, have seen the country very closely, I can say today, India is dying to work with Pakistan. India’s path of progress goes through Pakistan, I am convinced.”
Shoaib Akhtar feels Haider Ali is at par or better than Babar Azam
He also spoke about the losses that the BCCI will incur if the IPL 2020 gets canceled or postponed because of the widespread pandemic of Coronavirus. He hopes that the losses should not happen but ruled that whatever was happening was unfortunate.
“I hope India does not incur this loss and I hope they prosper, but it is all happening which is unfortunate,” he added.
The 44-year-old had previously expressed his anger on the Chinese people for eating bats, dogs and cats and thus spreading such a deadly disease across the world.
“I don’t understand why you have to eat things like bats, drink their blood and urine and spread some virus across the globe… I’m talking about the Chinese people. They have put the world at stake. I really don’t understand how can you eat bats, dogs, and cats. I’m really angry,” he had said.
