New Zealand pacer Mitchell McClenaghan had to return home from Pakistan Super League (PSL) after the government announced to seal the borders.

McClenaghan is in a 14-day self-isolation period, which is mandatory for anyone coming from outside. The decision is taken to stop COVID-19 from spreading.

McClenaghan wrote, “Straight home into isolation, get home to this note from my legendary wife who’s gone to stay with her parents for a few weeks. See you guys in 14 days." The cricketer funnily dropped a tweet about how people could start feeling annoying being in quarantine. “When you start to get frustrated just think... it could be worse... At least you’re not stuck inside with your wife!! Love You,” the note read in his tweet.

Mitch plays IPL for Mumbai Indians and PSL for Karachi Kings. IPL is still in peril, and the fast bowler won't be part of PSL for the rest of the games. The tournament is currently played behind closed doors.
