Half-centuries from Jonty Rhodes and Albie Morkel took South Africa Legends to victory over West Indies Legends in Match 4 of the inaugural Road Safety World Series T20 tournament on Wednesday (March 11).Rhodes, the team skipper, led from the front with an unbeaten 40-ball 50 and Morkel blasted the Calypso Kings attack for a 30-ball 54 not out to help Proteas successfully chase down the modest 144-run target.

Fine spell from Tino Best (1/12) went in vain as the rest of the West Indies Legends' bowling unit proved expansive.
Earlier, in the first half, Paul Harris (3/21), Albie Morkel (2/31), Johan van der Wath (1/14) picked up six wickets between them to help South Africa Legends restrict the opponent to 143/8 in their allotted 20 overs.
Daren Ganga (31) and Ricardo Powell (30) made thirties while Carl Hooper (23) remained unbeaten at the end but West Indies Legends failed to put an intimidating total on board.
This was West Indies Legends' second consecutive defeat of the tournament after also going down to India Legends in the opening game.
The South Africa Legends, however, opened their account on a winning note.
