
The one-off One Day International (ODI) between Pakistan and Bangladesh to be played in Karachi next month has been scheduled at the request of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB).
The BCB has recently requested the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to reschedule the one-off ODI in order to allow the Bangladesh team more time to prepare for the second ICC World Test Championship Test, which will be held at the National Stadium from 5 April.

Well, the PCB has accepted the BCB’s request and confirmed that the one-off ODI – which was originally scheduled for April 3 and will now be played on April 1 in Karachi. The board announced the change on Wednesday, March 4.
Zahir Khan, PCB’s Director of international cricket, said in a statement on Wednesday: “The PCB is always happy to facilitate wherever it can and will be delighted to host the Bangladesh men’s national team for additional days in Karachi.”
Noteworthy, Pakistan is ranked sixth on the ICC Test championship team rankings with 140 points, having won the first Test of the two-match Test series against the Tigers last month at Rawalpindi by an innings and 44 runs – 12 points ahead of ninth-ranked Bangladesh at the table.
