The three-match ODI series starts from March 12 in Dharamsala. Lucknow and Kolkata will host the second and third game on March 15 and March 18 respectively.

Ganguly also stated that the Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC) will carry out interviews on Wednesday (March 4) to fill the positions of two national selectors.

"The interviews will be conducted tomorrow," Ganguly told ANI.

The report also claims that the three-member CAC – comprising former India cricketers Madan Lal, RP Singh and Sulakshana Naik – had a meeting at the BCCI headquarters in Mumbai on Tuesday. Ganguly, BCCI secretary Jay Shah and IPL chairman Brijesh Patel were also present during the meeting.

The CAC was appointed in January to pick the replacements of outgoing chief selector MSK Prasad and fellow panel member Gagan Khoda.

Coming to the eligibility criteria set by the BCCI, a candidate ought to have featured in either 7 Tests and 30 First-Class matches or 10 ODIs and 20 First-Class games for senior selector's post. Moreover, the person needs to be retired from all forms of cricket for at least five years.
