SL v WI 2020: Sri Lanka recall Thisara Perera, Nuwan Pradeep for T20I series

Sri Lanka named a 15-member squad for the T20I series against West Indies.

Sri Lanka have recalled veteran all-rounder Thisara Perera and fast bowler Nuwan Pradeep for the two-match T20I series against West Indies. The squad is more or less the same as in the ODIs, with the exception of Dimuth Karunaratne who does not feature for the team in the shortest format.

Lasith Malinga will be leading the side against the current T20 world champions who are led by Kieron Pollard. The first T20 match will be played on Wednesday (March 4) while the other match will be played on Friday (March 6). Kandy is the venue for both matches.

Sri Lanka has already won the three-match ODI series with an unassailable lead of 2-0 after a 161-run win in the 2nd match on February 26.

Sri Lanka squad: Lasith Malinga (capt), Niroshan Dickwella (vice-capt, wk), Avishka Fernando, Kusal Perera, Danushka Gunathilaka, Kusal Mendis, Shehan Jayasuriya, Dasun Shanaka, Wanindu Hasaranga, Akila Dananjaya, Lakshan Sandakan, Isuru Udana, Kasun Rajitha, Lahiru Kumara, Lahiru Madushanka.
