BAN v ZIM 2020: Mushfiqur Rahim reveals the reason behind his unique 'dragon' celebration after double hundred

Rahim scored his third double hundred in Test cricket for Bangladesh and unleashed this special celebration.

Bangladesh batsman Mushfiqur Rahim smashed an unbeaten double hundred against Zimbabwe and score 203* in the first innings. In his innings, he also went past Tamim Iqbal to become the most runs scorer for Bangladesh in Test cricket.

This was Rahim's third double century in Tests for Bangladesh and Tamim Iqbal and Shakib Al Hasan are the two other Bangladesh batsmen who have achieved the feat.

After the double ton, Mushfiqur celebrated the achievement in a very unique way. We already know Bangladesh cricketers for their unusual celebrations, this was another addition to it.

Rahim moved on from the ‘Naagin dance’ celebration to a Dragon's roar. The 32-year-old revealed the celebration was dedicated to his son who loves dragons. “The celebration was for my son. He loves dragons so much, he likes this posture. So I did it for him.” the wicketkeeper-batsman revealed.
