Injuries to Temba Bavuma and Heinrich Klaasen pushed South Africa into recalling Reeza Henricks for the remainder of the ongoing three-match T20I series at home against Australia, Cricket South Africa (CSA) has confirmed.
Bavuma, who was included in the squad despite doubts over his fitness, was carrying an injury since the final T20I game of the preceding series against England. The right-hand batsman has been diagnosed with a right hamstring injury.

Klassen, on the other hand, sustained a right hip injury during the team's warm-up session ahead of the series opener in Jo'burg where the Proteas were brutally hammered on Friday (February 21).
"Both Bavuma and Klaasen will continue to be treated and will be reassessed ahead of the start of the second match," CSA said in a statement.
Right-hand batsman Hendricks has already joined the national squad in training for the second game in Port Elizabeth on Sunday (February 23).
Hendricks has played 22 T20Is for the Proteas with four half-centuries at a strike-rate of 121.8 since his debut in the format in 2014.
