This season of the tournament is wholly hosted in Pakistan and is seeing packed crowds in stadiums.

However, one thing the cricket fans in Pakistan more are seeing the Indian team playing in front of them. The two sides have not played each other in bilateral series since 2013 when Pakistan came to India for a limited-overs series. The last time the two sides played a Test was in 2007.

Since then, the two sides have met only in ICC and ACC tournaments. Indian players like Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni have earned a lot of love from across the border. Several Pakistan cricket fans, in the past, have showcased their admiration for many Indian cricketers.

This love was also shown by fans during the PSL match between Islamabad United and Multan Sultans at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. A group of Pakistan cricket fans in Lahore held up a banner, requesting the Indian team to come and play cricket in Pakistan.

Even former Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar mentioned in one of his YouTube videos that it's high time India and Pakistan resume playing bilateral cricket, keeping aside the political differences between the 2 Asian neighbors.
