On the occasion of 100th birth anniversary of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Asia XI will play the World XI in couple of T20Is which are scheduled to be played in Dhaka in March. There were reports that suggested Indian cricketers like Virat Kohli, Mohammed Shami, Shikhar Dhawan and Kuleeep Yadav will feature in the fixtures.
But the (Board of Control of Cricket in India) BCCI president Sourav Ganguly, has made it clear that the board is yet to finalise the names of the players that will be participating and that they are still in talks with the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB).
“We are seeing the availability of the players and based on that we will finalise the names. The talk is still on,” Ganguly was quoted saying by Sportstar.

The former left-hand batsman also told that the CAC (Cricket Advisory Committee) which comprises of former players like Madan Lal, Shubhangi Kulkarni and R.P. Singh will be discussing about appointing selectors for the senior and junior panels in the next few days.
Ganguly also assured that the two vacant positions in the senior selection committee will surely be filled before India’s home ODI series against the Proteas in March.
