The third and final T20I between South Africa and England was played at the SuperSport Park in Centurion. South Africa won the toss and they elected to bat first.
Temba Bavuma (49, 4 fours and 3 sixes), De Kock and Miller made 35 each and Henrich Klaasen top-scored with 66 runs with 4 fours and 4 sixes. South Africa posted a humongous 222/6 in 20 overs. Tom Curran (2/33) and Ben Stokes (2/35) were the best bowlers for England.
England came out all guns blazing as Buttler (57 with 9 fours and 2 sixes) and Jonny Bairstow (64 with 7 fours and 3 sixes) laid a brilliant platform for Morgan, Stokes, and Ali to come in and finish the job. Captain Morgan took it upon himself to take it till the end and remained unbeaten on 57 in 22 balls with 7 sixes. Stokes made 22 in 12 and added 61 runs with Morgan in no time.
South African bowlers had no answers to the onslaught as even Lungi Ngidi went for 55 runs for 2 wickets in his 4 overs. Steyn gave 43 runs, while Pretorius and Shamsi gave away 40 each.
In the end, Moeen Ali hit a four to take England to the victory and they finished on 226/5 in 19.1 overs. With this win, England also pocketed the T20I series 2-1. Eoin Morgan was named the Player of the Match and Player of the Series too.
