Out-of-favor Pakistan wicket-keeper Kamran Akmal named his favorite Indian Premier League (IPL) team when asked by a fan on Twitter. It was during a ‘Questions & Answers’ session on his Twitter account when he answered different questions of fans.
Akmal didn't ignore the Indian fan who wanted to know the IPL side he admires the most. Responding to the fan, Kamran said he likes Chennai Super Kings the most.
Chennai is the second most successful IPL franchise. The MS Dhoni-led side has won the tournament three times, only one less than Mumbai Indians. Although, they are the only franchise to qualify for playoffs of all the season they have appeared in.

The 38-year-old veteran Pakistan cricketer has played IPL for Rajasthan Royals. He appeared in six IPL matches before the participation of Pakistan players was banned in the cash-rich league. He scored 128 runs with a strike rate of 164.1 and his highest score was 53.
Kamran was recently in news for defending his brother Umar Akmal who misbehaved with the trainer in a fitness test.
