Former South African cricketer Jonty Rhodes is arguably the finest fielder the game of cricket has ever seen besides being a reliable middle-order batsman for the team during his playing days.

Rhodes scored over 8,000 international runs for South Africa in his career, but he enjoyed the legacy as the best fielder in the game despite being one of the most consistent batsmen of his generation.

The Proteas legend, who is known for his stupendous fielding efforts, had given a tough time to many batsmen on several occasions, taking some terrific catches in his career, but he had to recently face tough time by a Twitter user when he was asked about his favorite fielders.

Rhodes was asked by a social media user to name his favorite fielder in the world, and he has really found it difficult to come up with a single name.

The South African great ended up naming as many as seven names including two Indians and they are – Herschelle Gibbs, Ricky Ponting, AB de Villiers, Suresh Raina, Martin Guptill, Kieron Pollard, and Ravindra Jadeja as some of his favorite fielders in the game.
