The series is now equaled 1-1 with one match to go.

Ishan Porel picked three wickets | GettyThe second unofficial ODI between New Zealand A and India A was played at the Hagley Oval in Christchurch. It was a must-win match for the home side, who had lost the first encounter.

Mayank Agarwal won the toss and chose to field first and his decision was proven correct when Siraj dismissed Rachin Ravindra for a duck. Then Ishan Porel troubled the middle order consistently, picking 3/50, while Krunal and Akshar Patel did their job perfectly.

Unfortunately, George Worker slammed a terrific 135 with 12 fours and 6 sixes and with the help of 55 from Cole McConchie, took the final total to 295/7 in 50 overs. Jimmy Neesham also contributed 33 runs and rescued his team from disaster.

Kyle Jamieson (2/69), Jacob Duffy (2/35) and Jimmy Neesham (2/24) were the picks of bowlers, as India ended up with 266/9 in 50 overs and lost the match by 29 runs.
