Twitter is a tough place for celebrities as they usually get mobbed by the trolls if a tweet doesn't suit their agenda. India spinner R Ashwin was the latest victim of the troll army, but he knows how to deal with them.

Ashwin, who has often won the internet with his savage replies, dealt with a troll who tried to question him. The cricketer had posted a tweet showing concern over the smog in Chennai caused due to the occasion of Bhogi, the first day of the Pongal festival.

"Massive smog in Chennai this morning owing to Bhogi burning, entire nose getting blocked and black discharges later in the day. I am not sure if it's worth spoiling the planet further in the name of traditions. There has to be a way to educate everyone and make them understand," he said.

In response, a Twitter user told Ashwin to not use the car if he cares for the planet so much. To which, Ashwin politely agreed and said he would use it in the best way possible.

But the user didn't stop. He went on to target the celebrity status of Ashwin. That is when the cricketer came up with a good explanation for him.

He wrote, "I never claimed to be a celebrity, I play a game I love and that doesn't make me any different. As for the other so-called popular people, it's not my prerogative. So to have a go at me with your preconceived notions needs to be given a second thought."
