South Africa's great pacer Dale Steyn named Pat Cummins as the best pacer currently during a chat session on Twitter. 

Cummins has been in his prime with the ball which was perfectly reflected in the amount he was sold during the IPL 2020 auction. Kolkata Knight Riders bid for the Aussie in the auction and got him in INR 15.5 crore.

"Your favorite current fast bowler ?", questioned a fan. To which, Steyn replied, "Pat Cummins, he can buy all the drinks ????".

Kolkata Knight Riders were happy with the buy. The KKR head coach Brendon McCullum said, “I thought he was the best player of the auction...as a cricketer, he’s grown, his body has become robust. He is now the vice-captain of the Australia cricket team, which is a mark of his development. Wonderful to secure a world-class player."

Talking about Steyn, he will be playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore. The pacer went unsold the first couple of times. But RCB bought him at his base price of INR 2 crore.
