Former Pakistan cricketer Javed Miandad is the latest ex-cricketer from neighbor to make headlines with his comments on India. Miandad has accused Virat Kohli and co of fulfilling political motives by wearing army caps earlier this year during an ODI match.
Indian cricketers had come out to play against Australia in Ranchi wearing the army caps as a tribute to the CRPF jawans who lost their lives in the Pulwama terrorist attack. BCCI had taken permission fro the international cricket body, ICC before making the move.
Unaware of it, Miandad wants ICC to take action against India for mixing politics with sports.

The 62-year-old was sporting army cap during the ongoing Test match between Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Test cricket returned to Pakistan after ten years and he was invited as a special guest, along with Sri Lanka's Bandula Warnapura.
When asked about the army cap, as per Ary Sports, Miandad said, “I wore an army cap just to show love for my army, and nothing else. I wanted to be a soldier and I used to wear such caps often during my childhood. Virat Kohli and the Indian team wore army caps for fulfilling political means but I didn’t.”
