India's veteran cricketer MS Dhoni has a special respect for the Indian armed forces and it reflects very well in his actions. Dhoni is coming up with a show dedicated to the brave army men who stand for the country in tough times.

The 38-year-old's love for the army is no secret. He loves camouflage gloves. Even his wicket-keeping gloves had the 'Balidaan' symbol during the 2019 World Cup, which was later removed by ICC as per the policy. On top of everything, Dhoni was part of a two-week training with India’s Territorial Army in Jammu and Kashmir in August after the World Cup 2019.

Dhoni, who has been conferred the rank of honorary lieutenant-colonel, will now tell the stories of decorated army men. According to the report of Mid-Day, the show will go on air in a few months. The work is still in progress. The team is working on the scripting of the show.

“It is a series revolving around personal stories of military officers who have been feted for gallantry with top honors like the Ashoka Chakra and Param Vir Chakra. Dhoni knows the journey of the people who have selflessly served the nation and the hardships they have faced while doing so. He wants to bring them into the limelight through his show,” the source informs.
