Karnataka all-rounder Krishnappa Gowtham became the latest player from the Vijay Hazare and Syed Mushtaq Ali tournaments winning side to get married. He got hitched to Archana Sundar in a private ceremony on December 6.
Earlier Manish Pandey got married on Monday, December 2, a day after his side’s win over Tamil Nadu in the finals.
Gowtham had a relatively decent tournament with 67 runs and 4 wickets in seven matches. However, he was in news a few months ago, when he scored a century and picked 8/15 in a Karnataka Premier League game. He had achieved the feat for Bellary Tuskers vs Shivamogga Lions, as he slammed a 56-ball 134* and then picked eight wickets to lead his team to a win. Unfortunately, KPL matches are not official T20 matches, else he would have held the world record.
Recently, he was traded from Rajasthan Royals to Kings XI Punjab during the trade window for IPL 2020.
