Irfan Pathan gives a savage response to Abdul Razzaq for calling Jasprit Bumrah a 'baby bowler'

Bumrah has been India's most successful bowler in last couple of years.

Former Pakistan cricketer Abdul Razzaq has lost much respect because of his unfiltered words for Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah. He targetted Jasprit and called him a 'baby bowler'. Razzaq claimed he would have got no problem facing and smashing Bumrah in his time.

To reply to Razzaq, India's former cricketer Abdul Razzaq recalled a famous statement from Javed Miandad in 2004. Miandad had said there is nothing special in Irfan and they have such bowlers playing in every street of Pakistan.

Mentioning Miandad's words in his tweet, Irfan reminded how the statement had backfired in the past. “Your Irfan Pathans are in every gully and mohalla of Pakistan. We don’t even bother to look at them,” Miandad had said in a 2004 interview.

“Irfan jese bowlers hamari gali gali mein paae jate hay” par jab jab ye galli bowler inke samne khela har baar inki gilliyan nikal ke rakh di. Request to all fans not to pay any heat to those unnecessary over the top statements. Just read and laugh,” he tweeted.

India and Pakistan don't play bilateral series because of political issues between them. It would have been an epic encounter had they played especially after such comments from ex-cricketers.
