Ahead of two-match Test series in Australia, Pakistan’s star batsman Babar Azam has issued a warning to the hosts by slamming a masterful hundred against Australia A in a practice game at Optus Stadium on November 11, 2019 in Perth.

The right-hander was in impressive form with the bat in the recently-concluded T20I series, where he slammed couple of fifties but could not stop Pakistan from losing the series against Australia.

However, the T20I skipper didn’t take much time to switch from white-ball game to red-ball cricket in Australian conditions, as he slammed 157 in a practise match to make his present felt to Tim Paine and his team ahead of the Brisbane Test on next week.

After his stunning knock, Michael Hussey was in awe for Babar, saying the Pakistan star can be discussed in the same breath as the fab four of the current generation – Virat Kohli, Steve Smith, Joe Root and Kane Williamson if he manages to continue his performances in the Test cricket.

As per Fox Sports, Hussey, former Australian batsman, stated: “I honestly believe this guy can be in the same conversation when we start talking about the best players in the world. We start talking about (Virat) Kohli, Steve Smith, Kane Williamson, Joe Root gets floated around.”

He signed off by saying, “I think if he can start putting together some big hundreds like this in the Test arena, he's that good ... he's a brilliant, brilliant player.”

Noteworthy, the 25-year-old has represented Pakistan in 21 Test matches so far, in which he has managed 1235 runs with only one century and 11 fifties.
