Gautam Gambhir helps a Pakistani girl and her parents get Indian visas for medical reasons

Gambhir is an MP from Delhi.

Gautam Gambhir

Gautam Gambhir is known for his patriotism and nationalism as he has often taken a stand with the Indian Army. His Gautam Gambhir foundation has also taken upon the responsibility of educating the children of martyred soldiers.

In the latest example of his generous nature, the BJP MP helped a Pakistani girl and her parents get visas to India in order to have heart surgery in the country. It is a norm for the residents of our neighboring country to come to India in order to get treatment for such serious ailments given the advanced medical expertise Indian doctors have and due to the presence of the latest equipment.

The cost of surgery is also pretty low in India, which has become a medical haven for foreigners looking for cheap treatments and many Pakistani citizens avail this facility. Gambhir tweeted a letter from S Jaishankar, the Minister of External Affairs, directing the Indian embassy in Pakistan to give the girl and her parents the required visas.

The former India captain had written to the minister asking for assistance on the matter.

Thank u @DrSJaishankar 4 granting visa to Pakistani girl& her parents for her heart surgery @narendramodi @AmitShah
