The people closest to MS Dhoni, his childhood coaches and manager, have spoken about his future plans and the big question still remains.

The mystery about MS Dhoni’s future in international cricket is not looking easy to solve even through his closest sources. Dhoni has always been a man who keeps his cards close to his chest and he has not revealed it to his childhood coaches as well as his manager Mihir Diwakar.

Mr Diwakar said, “All cricketing decisions are solely made by him. No one other than him knows about his cricketing decisions. You have seen how he stopped playing Tests. It's difficult to predict, and we don't discuss that matter. What will be the difference between common public and friends if we start asking him the same questions?

His point of view is right taken into consideration how the entire Indian cricketing fraternity keeps speculating about MS Dhoni’s future even though he is known to spring up surprises like his Test retirement in 2014.

His childhood coaches Keshav Banerjee and Dr Moti Prasad, who is still into the field of coaching, too, do not have any substantial information. In fact, both of them believe that people should stay away from Dhoni and let him take the decision whenever he wants to. He deserves a break after playing international cricket for so long.

Banerjee said, “Dhoni has been playing relentlessly since 2004 so he deserves this break. I think he will play the World Twenty20 next year in Australia.

While Prasad said, “Media should leave him alone. No other player has so much of experience like Dhoni. There's no doubt that Indian cricket needs Dhoni.

Meanwhile, Dhoni will mark his attendance on Day 1 of the Ranchi Test between India and South Africa, as confirmed by Diwakar. "Mahi will definitely come and you will see him during the first day's proceedings tomorrow. I was there with him in Mumbai and he will fly down tomorrow morning," he said.
