India cricketer R Ashwin was cheering for Indian football during their encounter against Bangladesh in the FIFA World Cup qualifier. He showed his excitement on Twitter when  India leveled the score after conceding a goal at the start. It was a fierce competition between the neighbors. 

India's Adil Khan, who scored the goal to seal a thrilling 1-1 draw with Bangladesh at Salt Lake stadium in Kolkata. Ashwin was delighted with the leveler, and he posted a tweet that read, "1-1 now #indvsban #IndianFootball can we sneak one in now!!! Go boys ????."

The off-spinner got a response from his county side Nottinghamshire teammate, Ben Duckett. He messed with his buddy saying if Ashwin were in the team, he would have pulled off the match for India.

Ashwin replied, reminding the hat-trick he scored in practice games among team members in Trent Bridge during his county stint.
