Celebrities are often targetted on social media by hackers. Some try to enter their privacy while few use it to promote themselves. On Friday, former Australia cricketer Shane Watson's account was hacked, and there was the use of taboo words in the tweets.
The name of the account was changed to 'crimin.al' and the tweets were mostly racial slurs. The hacker kept tweeting pictures and offensive tweets for half-an-hour. There were fat-shaming tweets directed at Australians as well.
Fans spotted something fishy in his account, and some even went on to tag Twitter and informed about it.
Recently, Fakhar Zaman had faced the same on Instagram. His account was hacked for promotion of personal business. The Pakistan fans were stunned as they saw the name changed and bizarre posts on the account.
